Cassie Jaye launched Jaye Bird Productions in 2008, and the company has since produced a number of documentary films that have been hailed for being thought-provoking, amusing, and respectful in their representation of different contrasting viewpoints. Jaye is known for taking on difficult and frequently contentious subjects. Her most recent film is The Red Pill. Jaye’s previous projects included the award-winning feature documentaries “Daddy I Do” (which analyzed the Abstinence-Only Movement against Comprehensive Sex Education) and “The Right to Love: An American Family” (which followed one family’s activism fighting for same-sex marriage rights in California). Both videos demonstrated Jaye’s interview approach, which allows people to express themselves honestly, openly, and frankly while letting audiences to draw their own conclusions.
